In the settings I have only "High/Low Prices" push notification enabled, since I am not interested in the other notifications like "End of day portfolio update", but I only want to receive notifications for my custom price alerts.
But even when "End of day portfolio update" is disabled, I still get the red badge number on my Delta app icon on my home screen to tell me that I have unread notifications.
If the "End of day portfolio update" setting is turned off, then the app should not create "End of day update" notifications. This counts for all other types of notifications as well, but the "End of day update" notifications each evening are the worst. I also get "Why is ... moving today?" notifications when they also are disabled in my settings.
Support told me to disable badges for the Delta app, but that is not a proper solution since I want to see the badge on the Delta app icon for the important notifications that I have enabled.
There is no good reason for the Delta app to create these notifications when they are disabled. I understand that iOS automatically shows the badge when there are notifications in the app, but the problem is that these unwanted notifications are being created within the app even when the corresponding setting is disabled.
