New Zealand has a high minimum wage (around $25) resulting in a population of almost all middle to upper class people.
NZ has a high standard of living resulting in a large amount of retirees who retire with a net worth ranging in the millions.
NZ has English as their citizens first language.
NZ has a very stable government with a very low risk of war.
In the mid 2000s NZ introduced a retirement scheme called KiwiSaver, the scheme builds each citizen an investment account with weekly contributions coming from their wages, their employer and the government. As the government gave $1K to everyone who signed up, most citizens have a KiwiSaver account (3,200,300 as of June 2023 out of a population of 5,255,000)
In the 2010s the government sold off some government shares in publicly traded companies (MEL.NZ, MCY.NZ, GNE.NZ, AIR.NZ) on the NZX to the NZ population, resulting in a higher amount of people owning shares on the NZX.
Most of the companies on the NZX are small cap compared to international companies, but have been around for decades so they have low risk but also low growth.
Companies on the NZX are ideal for portfolios that want to diversify away from a single economy and want less aggressive volatility.

I see that there have been some previous requests to add the NZX. Is there a timescale for this?

I see that there have been some requests to add the NZX Exchange. Is there a timescale for this? This would make me consider subscribing to the Pro version.

Stopped paying premium because it's 60% functional without NZX for me. 🤷🏼♂️
